104 In Picatrix we read that the force of the celestial bodies works through “talismans”. Are we to deduce that Alchemy is the science of the manufacture of stellar talismans?
That Alchemy is the science of making talismans would throw the sacred art into total chaos and discredit. However, this is a very intriguing question, provided we have a clear idea of what is meant by talisman. Mountains of trivial “practical utility” have functioned as disinformation over the centuries.
